We are elated to announce the creation of the Vegan Fusion Culinary Academy in Miami Beach, Florida. The Vegan Fusion Academy is a culinary school and educational facility in Miami, Florida that trains students on plant-based cuisine and provides tools for living an inspired life.  We are partnering with our friend Lynn Kitchen of The Cafe of Dreams to add lifestyle and business coaching programs to our culinary curriculum. The first year of the Academy will be offered as a pop-up location in Miami Beach.

Our vision for the Academy is to continue the work Mark has been doing the past several years, in training others in the art of vegan and raw food preparation as a form of food activism to help create a sustainable future for humanity. One of our guiding principles is that “Life Happens Around Food”. We stand at the crossroads of cuisine and culture. With the addition of Lynn Kitchen, we teach Full Spectrum Living around a whole life approach to plant based food choices, and provide advanced training in both culinary arts and progressive mentorship. We aspire to inspire a collective advancement toward a sustainable, peaceful world.

Our culinary curriculum presented by Executive Chef Mark Reinfeld, will include:

  • One and two day Culinary Courses
  • Five and ten day Culinary Immersions
  • Three day advanced Culinary Teacher Trainings
  • Introductory and Advanced cooking skills courses
  • Three month Intensive Chef Certifications
  • Select courses are Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited for doctors, nurses and medical students
  • Vegan Fusion Chef Certifications with job placement and support
Our lifestyle educational program, presented by Executive Coach Lynn Kitchen of Cafe of Dreams, will include:
  • Elective courses on mindful living, visioning, empowerment, and mindset
  • Life, financial and business coaching
  • Inspiration from guest presenters from the health and wellness community
The Vegan Fusion Academy is unique in that its focus is on creating a sustainable future and incorporates health and wellness programs with financial and life planning services in addition to its culinary curriculum.

Mark is the winner of Vegan.com‘s Recipe of the Year Award and has more than 20 years of experience preparing creative vegan and raw food cuisine. He was the executive chef for the North American Vegetarian Society’s 2012 – 2015 Summerfest, one of the largest vegetarian conferences in the world. He specializes in vegan and raw food recipe development and offers vegan cuisine workshops, trainings and retreats internationally.
Mark is described by VegCooking.com as being “poised on the leading edge of contemporary vegan cooking”. He is the author of six books and the founding chef of the celebrated Blossoming Lotus Restaurant, winner of a prestigious I’lima Award for “Best Restaurant on Kaua’i”. Mark holds a Masters Degree in Holistic Nutrition and is the recipient of a Platinum Carrot award given to America’s top “innovative and trailblazing healthy chefs”.
Mark received his initial culinary training from his grandfather, Benjamin Bimstein, a renowned chef and ice carver in New York City. He developed his love for world culture and cuisine during travel journeys through Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South and Central America. His first cookbook, Vegan Fusion World Cuisine, coauthored with Bo Rinaldi and featuring a foreword by Dr. Jane Goodall, has won several national awards, including a Gourmand Award for “Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the USA”.
In addition Mark coauthored The Taste Of The East, The 30-Minute Vegan and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Eating Raw. Lynn Kitchen is passionate about helping clients to realize their “greatness”, create wealth and live their dreams.  Creator of TheCafeofDreams.com, Lynn provides strategic coaching services helping individuals and businesses reach greater levels of success and transform their dreams into reality.
Lynn draws on a 34 year career as a financial executive and investment advisor, and continues to be a Director/Owner of Maxwell Noll Investment Advisors, a money management firm in Pasadena, California. Lynn was one of the first women to have owned her own investment broker-dealer in Los Angeles, California.
Additionally, served as a state-licensed spiritual practitioner and is currently Board Chair of Spirit Awakening Foundation which mentors at-risk youth.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Marketing, from California State University, Long Beach, and has held many advanced financial certifications including Licensed Financial Principal as well as additional study toward Certified Financial Analyst (CFA). Lynn lives in Longboat Key, Florida with her husband and enjoys tennis and biking.
